Alison Belliveau, Career and Technical Education (CTE) Executive Director and Principal at the Dr. Gene Burton College and Career Academy, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE), the nation’s largest organization dedicated to advancing career and technical education.

Congratulations to the 28 outstanding DECA students who earned District Champion honors and qualified for the DECA State Competition after competing against more than 2,300 students from 48 schools at the District Conference.

Rockwall High School senior and student council president Max Watson completed the National Association of Student Councils (NASC) Distinguished Student Leader Program, earning national recognition as a Distinguished Student Leader. NASC is administered by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP).
